This Privacy Policy explains how Marrows collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Marrows app and website.
2. Information We Collect
- Gameplay progress stored locally on your device (level, lives, streak).
- A generated in-app player tag stored locally on your device.
- Basic usage events (for example: app open, level start, level complete, collisions).
- Technical request data such as IP address, user agent, and server log data.
- Approximate location data, such as country, derived from your public IP address.
- Push notification token, only if you grant notification permission.
3. How We Use Information
- To save your game progress between sessions.
- To understand gameplay performance and improve future updates.
- To measure usage, diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and monitor backend reliability.
- To deliver optional push notifications (if enabled by you).
4. Third-Party Services
Marrows may use third-party services for messaging, hosting, analytics, operational logging, and approximate location lookup. These services may process technical data such as app events, device and app identifiers, IP address, and request metadata according to their own policies.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with service providers needed to operate app functionality (for example analytics, hosting, messaging infrastructure, and/or IP geolocation).
6. Data Retention
Locally stored game data remains on your device until you reset the app or uninstall it. Server logs and analytics-related technical data, including IP-based event logs, are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for analytics, diagnostics, security, and service operations. Data processed through service providers is retained according to their retention settings and policies.
7. Children's Privacy
Marrows is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.
8. Your Choices
- You can disable notifications from iOS Settings at any time.
- You can reset local game data by reinstalling the app or using in-app reset actions.
